From Biology to Software Engineering
My path into software wasn't linear — and that perspective shapes
how I build.
I'm a Software Engineer with a background in computer science, cloud
architecture, and full-stack development. I hold a Master's degree
in Computer Science from Northeastern University and transitioned
into tech from a background in Biology, driven by an interest in
building scalable systems.
I've strengthened my foundation through a Professional Certificate
in Machine Learning and AI from UC Berkeley Executive Education and
by earning the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
(SAA-C03).
Most recently, I rebuilt a B2B e-commerce platform supporting
13,000+ products, migrating it from a MERN stack to a serverless AWS
architecture using S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, and SES.
This improved performance, reliability, and scalability while
enabling features like global search, shareable filtering, and a
persistent cart.
I bring a mix of healthcare and engineering experience, allowing me
to approach problems with both technical depth and user-focused
thinking, and I'm always looking to keep learning and building.
